10th Annual Holiday Celebration with the Festival Carolers

Celebrate the Holiday Season with traditional carols performed by a select ensemble, the FCO Festival Carolers, dressed in Victorian costume.  Enjoy audience sing-along carols and a special story for children, with familiar Christmas songs you remember from bygone years. Saint Nicholas will be in the lobby for free photo opportunities, and each guest receives a treat bag. This event has become a beloved family tradition for many, a lovely time for smiling and setting stress aside.

Tickets only $10 - children 12 and under, Free.

The people come with the Oregon Trail card, usually when the box office opens. Usually 1 hr. before the concert up to  when the box office closes for the evening. For a person with one Oregon Trail card the organizer usually will make available two tickets ($5.00 each- $10.00). If it is close to the time of the concert,  and the organizer has a lot of tickets left,  them it's up to them if they can give out more, to say, a family with the Oregon Trail card.

Festival Chorale Oregon would like to offer discounted tickets to all our main season concerts through Salem For All.  Rush tickets will be available to purchase for $5 each at the box office starting 1 hour before the concert begins.  Each Oregon Trail card holder may purchase up to 2 tickets at $5 each.  (We will make a total of 20 tickets available for this Salem for All discount).

Festival Carolers

A Victorian Treat for the Holidays

This lively ensemble of 8 to 16 select singers, festooned in Victorian costumes, performs at holiday parties, retirement centers, retail shops and other events with a Victorian Christmas ambiance. It’s a feast for the eyes and ears. Twenty-seven select voices from the larger chorale provide caroling during the yuletide season. The unique selection of music, coupled with Dr. Holmquist's ability to bring vitality as well as technical prowess to the music, has received enthusiastic responses from all listeners for the past 25 years.

The Festival Carolers are in great demand during the holiday season. To book your event, call the message line at 503-585-5404 or email Rebekah Wozniak-Gelzer well in advance. We begin booking events in early fall for the Nov/Dec. holiday season. Last minute opportunities are available, but rare.

Upcoming concerts include:

Dec. 17, 4 pm at the Elsinore Theatre: “Sing We Now of Christmas: with Victorian Carolers and Audience Sing-Along”
